This is the perfect home for a small group. We had two in our party but could have invited another couple and been comfortable. The house has such a great location being between Seneca Lake and Keuka Lake and very close to Pen Yann grocery stores, make it easy to get to all the two lakes offer. We especially enjoyed the waterfalls that were behind the house located on the Keuka outlet trail. We could hear the lovely sound of falling waters as we sat out on the upper and lower porches. The porches were great!! There is acess to the Keuka outlet trail from the house so taking a walk on the trail was easy. We also found our inner kids when we played in the game room that is housed in the garage. The outdoor grill and kitchen is so functional and beautiful. We found the kitchen pretty well equipped and functional as we ate most of our meals at the house. Only downside is there is no bathroom on the first floor, which could be an issue for someone with limited mobility. But we loved this house so much that we signed up for next year as we were sitting on the upper porch, listening to the falls and drinking a wonderful sauvingon blanc from a local winery, Billsboro! The hosts are super attentive too.

Wide Open Views is a beautiful house in a gorgeous location. Expansive lake views from nearly every room. Fully stocked kitchen. We love the downstairs family room/kitchenette/game area for the toddlers in the early morning so they don’t disturb people sleeping on the 1st floor. So much to do in the area – everyone from age 2 to 95 – had a great time. This is our second year staying here and we WILL be back again.

I, along with my sister and friend, spent 6 glorious days at Crane Cove. The house and property were even better than advertised! The house was equipped with everything one could possibly need, from the kitchen to the bathroom. There was a free-standing fireplace which warmed us on cool evenings and ceiling fans for a nice breeze when temperatures rose. While the indoors was lovely, the outdoors was spectacular. The house is situated right on Keuka Lake. We ate our meals at an outdoor table with a lake view, and spent hours on the covered porch ,listening to the wind and the waves. In preparation for our trip, I contacted our host several times and she always responded promptly, and in a very friendly manner. We are looking forward to another visit to Crane Cove next year. Thank you!

Painted Quail is a beautiful and clean home with all of the comforts and amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor space had so many seating areas for different views of Lamoka Lake. The top level felt like we were sitting in a treehouse. The location is perfect in between Seneca and Keuka lakes (about 15-20 minutes to either) for access to restaurants, wineries, hiking and other attractions.

My niece had a wedding in Penn Yan, NY at a winery. Although they blocked a bunch of rooms at a local hotel, I stumbled on the Linger Hospitality website. We opted for the Sheridan House Suite. It is/was perfect for the two of us. Complete with a full kitchen and a king bed. Very well appointed, and complete with a large TV, sofa, couple chairs and a washer and dryer. The perfect place to get away and still feel at home. We will be back. The town is so fun and provides a lot of history.

We were traveling for a friend’s 25th wedding anniversary celebration. We chose the Chalet for our stay. Our check in was seamless. We loved the ambiance and the views from our chalet. The kitchen was very well appointed and the property was beautifully decorated. The response from the owner to all of my many questions was very quick. The property was just as described and we would definitely stay here again!! If you are looking for a quiet and serene place in the Finger Lakes region I highly recommend this property!!

Lovely Cabin in Finger Lakes Region

Had a great three day stay at Ceder Lane Cabin at the end of February 2025. The home is cozy, comfortable and impeccably clean. Instructions provided by the hosts are concise and clear.
My favorite part of the visit was spending an evening reading by the fireplace, watching the snow fall outside. Also, the surrounding area is quite beautiful. Perfect location for a calming, relaxing vacation during any time of year. Would highly recommend!
